SearchPlus HR is inviting applications from highly qualified Consultant Pediatric Surgeons holding American Board, UK CCT, or equivalent Western qualifications to join our partner healthcare institutions. This role is suited for experienced professionals committed to providing specialized surgical care to infants, children, and adolescents.
The Consultant Pediatric Surgeon will be responsible for assessing pediatric patients, planning and performing surgical procedures, and providing comprehensive perioperative care. Collaboration with pediatricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, nurses, and other specialists is essential to achieving optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and develop individualized surgical treatment plans for pediatric patients.
- Perform a wide range of pediatric surgical procedures, including elective, emergency, and minimally invasive surgeries.
- Provide comprehensive preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care for infants, children, and adolescents.
- Diagnose and manage congenital anomalies, gastrointestinal conditions, pediatric tumors, trauma, and other surgical conditions.
- Monitor patients closely after surgery and manage postoperative complications effectively.
- Respond promptly to pediatric surgical emergencies and provide appropriate intervention.
- Collaborate with pediatricians, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established patient safety and quality standards.
- Stay updated with advancements and best practices in pediatric surgery.Requirements
- Consultant Pediatric Surgeon with a recognized American Board, UK CCT, or equivalent Western postgraduate qualification in Pediatric Surgery.
- Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience in Pediatric Surgery.
- Proven experience managing complex pediatric surgical cases, including congenital and emergency conditions.
- Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.Benefits
