We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide specialized care for children and adolescents with rheumatologic, autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal disorders.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage pediatric patients with rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions.
• Evaluate children with inflammatory joint, muscle, bone, and connective tissue disorders.
• Manage conditions including juvenile idiopathic arthritis, juvenile lupus, vasculitis, and other pediatric rheumatologic disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient response and disease progression.
• Prescribe and monitor appropriate pharmacological and biologic therapies.
• Coordinate care with pediatricians, immunologists, orthopedists, physiotherapists, and other specialists.
• Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and long-term disease management.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical meetings.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
• Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, patient-safety standards, and UAE healthcare regulations.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality-improvement programs, and continuing medical education.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics with fellowship or subspecialty training in Pediatric Rheumatology.
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience as required under UAE PQR guidelines.
• Valid professional license/eligibility or eligibility to obtain DOH licensing in Abu Dhabi.
• Proven experience managing pediatric rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly with children and their families.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
