A leading private hospital in the UAE is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Pathologist (Australian Board) to join its diagnostic medicine team. The successful candidate will provide expert pathology services, including diagnostic interpretation, laboratory consultation, and clinical support to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis in accordance with international standards.
Provide expert diagnostic pathology services across anatomical and/or clinical pathology disciplines.
Examine and interpret histopathology, cytology, hematology, microbiology, and other laboratory investigations according to area of specialization.
Review and report on surgical pathology specimens, biopsies, cytology samples, and other diagnostic materials.
Provide clinical consultation to physicians regarding diagnostic findings, disease processes, and appropriate investigations.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including tumor boards and clinical case discussions.
Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of pathology reports.
Oversee laboratory quality assurance and compliance with accreditation standards.
Collaborate with laboratory professionals, clinicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Support the implementation of evidence-based diagnostic protocols and laboratory improvements.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with UAE healthcare regulations and laboratory standards.
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, research activities, and Continuing Medical Education (CME).
Mentor and support junior pathologists, residents, and laboratory staff where applicable.

Requirements
- •Australian Board certification in Pathology
- •Expertise in anatomical and/or clinical pathology
- •Experience in interpreting histopathology, cytology, hematology, and microbiology
- •Ability to provide clinical consultation to physicians
- •Knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations and laboratory standards
- •Experience in laboratory quality assurance and accreditation compliance
