SearchPlus HR is inviting applications from highly qualified Consultant Pathologists holding American Board, UK CCT, or equivalent Western qualifications to join our partner healthcare institutions. This role is suited for experienced professionals committed to providing accurate and high-quality diagnostic pathology services.
The Consultant Pathologist will be responsible for examining tissue, blood, and other clinical specimens, providing accurate diagnoses, and supporting clinical teams in patient management. Collaboration with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists is essential to delivering comprehensive patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine and interpret tissue, blood, fluid, and other clinical specimens to establish accurate diagnoses.
- Perform and report on histopathology, cytology, and other relevant diagnostic pathology investigations.
- Provide diagnostic support for complex cases, including oncology and hematological conditions.
- Collaborate with clinicians, surgeons, oncologists, and multidisciplinary teams to support treatment planning.
- Review and validate pathology reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and tumor boards where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow laboratory safety and quality assurance standards.
- Stay updated with advancements in diagnostic pathology, laboratory techniques, and evidence-based practices.Requirements
- Consultant Pathologist with a recognized American Board, UK CCT, or equivalent Western postgraduate qualification in Pathology.
- Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience in Pathology.
- Proven expertise in diagnostic pathology, including histopathology and cytology.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and report-writing skills with excellent attention to detail.
