About the Opportunity
SearchPlus HR is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist to join one of the leading healthcare organisations in the UAE.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care, managing routine and high-risk pregnancies as well as a broad range of gynecological conditions within a modern, multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide expert consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for obstetric and gynecological patients.
• Manage routine and high-risk pregnancies, including antenatal and postnatal care.
• Provide comprehensive care for patients with obstetric complications.
• Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections as clinically indicated.
• Manage gynecological conditions across the reproductive and post-reproductive age groups.
• Perform appropriate gynecological procedures and surgeries within approved clinical privileges.
• Evaluate and manage menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian disorders, and other gynecological conditions.
• Provide appropriate preconception and family-planning counseling.
• Work collaboratively with maternal-fetal medicine, fertility/IVF, neonatology, anesthesiology, radiology, and other multidisciplinary teams where required.
• Provide compassionate counseling and education to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, teaching, and continuing professional development activities.
Medical degree with a recognised specialist qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Proven Consultant-level experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Strong experience in both obstetric and gynecological practice.
Experience managing high-risk pregnancies is highly desirable.
Tier 1 / Western qualification strongly preferred, including:
- UK CCT / CCST
- American Board
- Canadian Board / RCPSC
- Irish specialist qualification
- Australian / New Zealand specialist qualification
- Other recognised international qualifications may be considered.Eligible for Consultant-level UAE licensing, subject to assessment by the relevant health authority.
Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred.
Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience within a leading international or Western healthcare institution is advantageous.
