ABOUT THE ROLE
A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in UAE is expanding its neonatal intensive care, high-risk newborn and advanced neonatal services and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Neonatologist to join its growing clinical team. The role is designed for internationally trained clinicians seeking career advancement, strong clinical exposure, and the ability to practice within a modern, quality-driven healthcare environment serving a diverse international patient population. ROLE OVERVIEW
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, neonatologists, pediatricians, nurses, respiratory therapists, allied health professionals and modern neonatal care infrastructure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide consultant-level care for premature, critically ill and high-risk newborns in NICU and neonatal care settings.
• Manage neonatal respiratory distress, sepsis, hypoxic-ischaemic encephalopathy, feeding difficulties and other complex neonatal conditions.
• Perform and supervise neonatal procedures according to clinical expertise, privileges and facility capabilities.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary management with neonatology, pediatric surgery, cardiology, neurology, radiology and allied health teams.
• Support neonatal resuscitation, ventilation, nutritional management and safe transition from intensive to follow-up care.
• Communicate effectively with parents and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, prognosis and ongoing neonatal care.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, infection prevention and patient safety initiatives.

• American Board of Pediatrics with Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship
• UK CCT / MRCPCH with Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine training
• European Board / national specialist certification in Neonatology
• Royal College Certification (Canada)
• Australian FRACP with Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine training
• Arab Board
• MD / DNB / DM / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
