In this role, you will be responsible for delivering expert medical oncology care, diagnosing and treating a wide spectrum of cancer cases. You will develop and manage tailored treatment plans, utilizing advanced therapies and collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and assess patients presenting with oncological conditions through detailed medical histories and examinations
• Order and interpret diagnostic investigations such as imaging, biopsies, and laboratory tests
• Design personalized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and other modalities
• Monitor treatment efficacy and adjust therapeutic strategies as needed
• Manage treatment-related adverse effects and provide supportive care
• Coordinate care with surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and allied health professionals
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation and compliance with clinical protocols
• Participate in research, education, and continuous professional development activitiesRequirements
• Proven experience as a Consultant Medical Oncologist within a private healthcare setting
• Comprehensive knowledge of oncology treatments, protocols, and patient management
• Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
