ABOUT THE ROLE
A leading healthcare provider in Dubai is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Family Medicine to join its growing clinical team. The role focuses on continuity-based primary care, preventive healthcare, chronic disease management, and comprehensive family medicine services.
The successful candidate will work within a modern, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals, advanced diagnostic facilities, and comprehensive healthcare services.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Consultant Family Medicine will provide comprehensive primary care for patients across different age groups, covering acute and chronic conditions, preventive health, health screening, and long-term patient management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive primary care for patients across age groups, including acute, chronic, and preventive healthcare needs.
- Diagnose and manage common medical conditions and chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, obesity, and cardiovascular risk factors.
- Provide preventive healthcare, health screening, vaccinations, lifestyle counselling, and wellness services.
- Monitor patients with chronic conditions and develop personalised treatment and follow-up plans.
- Coordinate referrals and continuity of care with specialists, diagnostic services, and allied health teams.
- Provide evidence-based counselling on family health, occupational health, travel medicine, nutrition, and lifestyle modification where applicable.
- Support early detection and management of health risks through appropriate screening and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, patient education, informed consent, and follow-up planning.
- Participate in quality improvement, preventive care campaigns, clinical governance, and patient safety initiatives.

- American Board of Family Medicine
- UK CCT / MRCGP
- European / National Family Medicine Specialist Recognition
- Royal College Certification (Canada)
- Australian FRACGP / FACRRM

- MD / DNB / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
