We are currently looking for a dedicated and highly skilled Consultant Emergency Medicine physician to join one of the hospitals. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing rapid, efficient, and comprehensive emergency care to patients with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries. Responsibilities
• Provide expert clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients presenting with emergency medical conditions.
• Lead and supervise the emergency department team including junior doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals.
• Coordinate with other specialties and healthcare services for timely patient referrals or admissions.
• Manage trauma cases and critically ill patients efficiently and effectively following established protocols.
• Ensure compliance with emergency care standards, safety protocols, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in training, mentoring, and continuous professional development activities within the emergency medicine department.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in emergency medicine and integrate evidence-based practices into clinical care.Requirements
• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with board certification or specialization in Emergency Medicine.
• Valid UAE medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure to practice emergency medicine.
• Minimum of 5 years clinical experience working as a Consultant in Emergency Medicine or equivalent role.
• Proven ability to manage a broad spectrum of emergency cases including trauma and critical illness.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities to collaborate within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
