ABOUT THE ROLE
A leading healthcare provider in the UAE is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Dermatologist to join its growing clinical team. The role focuses on medical dermatology, procedural dermatology, skin health, and aesthetic dermatology services.
The successful candidate will work within a modern, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals, advanced diagnostic facilities, and modern treatment infrastructure.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Consultant Dermatologist will provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for a wide range of dermatological conditions, while performing appropriate dermatological procedures and providing comprehensive patient-centred care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnose and manage medical dermatology conditions including eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, dermatitis, skin infections, and inflammatory skin conditions.
- Assess and manage hair and nail disorders, pigmentation disorders, and other dermatological conditions.
- Perform dermatological procedures including skin biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, and other procedures within the appropriate scope of practice.
- Provide laser and aesthetic dermatology treatments where appropriately qualified and credentialed.
- Conduct skin cancer screening, mole assessment, lesion evaluation, and appropriate follow-up.
- Assess suspicious skin lesions and coordinate further investigation, biopsy, pathology review, or specialist referral when required.
- Counsel patients regarding treatment options, skincare, medication safety, sun protection, and realistic aesthetic expectations.
- Develop personalised treatment plans and provide appropriate long-term dermatology follow-up.
- Coordinate care with allergy, rheumatology, oncology, plastic surgery, pathology, and other relevant specialties.
- Maintain appropriate patient consent, clinical photography, documentation, infection control, and patient safety standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical governance, quality improvement, and continuing professional development.

- American Board of Dermatology
- UK CCT / MRCP Dermatology
- European Board / National Specialist Certification
- Royal College Certification (Canada)
- Australian FACD
- Arab Board
- MD / DNB / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
