SearchPlus HR is inviting applications from highly qualified Consultant Cardiac Surgeons holding American Board, UK CCT, or equivalent Western qualifications to join our partner healthcare institutions. This role is suited for experienced professionals committed to excellence in cardiac surgical care, patient safety, and optimal clinical outcomes.
The Consultant Cardiac Surgeon will be responsible for evaluating patients, planning and performing cardiac surgical procedures, and providing comprehensive perioperative care. Collaboration with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other multidisciplinary teams is essential to delivering high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and determine appropriate surgical treatment plans.
- Perform advanced cardiac surgical procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafting and valve repair or replacement.
- Provide comprehensive preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient management.
- Monitor patient progress and manage postoperative complications and recovery.
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Manage complex and emergency cardiac surgical cases when required.
- Participate in multidisciplinary cardiac case discussions and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to cardiac surgery safety and quality standards.
- Keep up to date with advancements, techniques, and best practices in cardiac surgery.Requirements
- Consultant Cardiac Surgeon with a recognized American Board, UK CCT, or equivalent Western postgraduate qualification in Cardiac Surgery.
- Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience in Cardiac Surgery, with expertise in complex cardiac procedures.
- Proven experience in coronary artery bypass surgery, valve repair and replacement, and other advanced cardiac surgical procedures.
- Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.Benefits
