ABOUT THE ROLE
A leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Neurologist to join its clinical team. The role offers an opportunity to work in a modern healthcare environment with a diverse patient population and multidisciplinary medical teams.
The successful candidate will provide specialist neurological care, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients with a wide range of neurological conditions.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Consultant Neurologist will work closely with physicians, specialists, nurses, allied health professionals, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient-centred neurological care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with neurological conditions.
- Provide specialist consultation for complex neurological cases.
- Manage conditions including stroke, epilepsy, headaches, movement disorders, neuromuscular disorders, multiple sclerosis, and other neurological conditions.
- Interpret and correlate neurological investigations, including EEG, EMG/NCS, neuroimaging, and other relevant diagnostic tests.
- Develop appropriate treatment and follow-up plans based on clinical assessment and investigation findings.
- Work collaboratively with emergency, intensive care, neurosurgery, radiology, rehabilitation, and other specialist teams when required.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.

- American Board of Neurology
- UK CCT / MRCP / Specialty Certification in Neurology
- European Board of Neurology
- Royal College Certification (Canada)

- MD / DNB / DM / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
