Computing & Cloud Architect (Saudi Arabia)

Eram Talent is seeking a Computing & Cloud Architect to join our innovative team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and deploying cutting-edge cloud computing solutions that meet the needs of our clients in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. This role combines deep technical knowledge with strategic insight, allowing you to develop tailored cloud architectures that take advantage of the best cloud services available. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions, promote cloud adoption, and drive digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the enterprise architecture for computing platforms across on-prem, private cloud, public cloud, and HPC/AI infrastructure.
• Define target reference architectures, standards, and roadmaps, and provide architectural assurance for major programs and solutions.
• Develop and implement cloud strategies that support the organization’s short and long-term goals, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Provide leadership and guidance in cloud technology best practices, promoting a culture of innovation within the organization.
• Integrate existing systems with cloud-based solutions, ensuring interoperability and data consistency across all platforms.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to define cloud architecture for new applications and features.
• Evaluate new cloud services and technology trends, making recommendations to enhance functionality or efficiency.
• Monitor and analyze cloud performance metrics, adjusting architectures to optimize costs and performance.Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience:
• 15+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years focused on cloud computing architectures.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Solid understanding of cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and technologies such as containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in cloud migration projects and managing hybrid cloud environments.
• Certifications: Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional) are preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on scalable cloud solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
