At Hala, the Compliance Officer is responsible for supporting the implementation and monitoring of the company’s compliance framework, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, assisting in risk identification, and promoting a culture of compliance across the organization.

Education

Bachelor's degree in law, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent fields of studies

The education levels can be replaced by years of experience

Experience

Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in a similar role

Skills

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools

Languages: Fluent in English and Arabic

Strong knowledge of compliance and regulations

JOB-SPECIFIC

• Support the implementation and maintenance of an effective compliance program

• Assist in reviewing and updating company policies and procedures to ensure regulatory alignment

• Provide guidance to employees on basic compliance requirements and company policies

• Support the execution of action plans related to audit findings and compliance issues

• Review company processes, documents, and practices to identify potential risks or gaps

• Conduct site visits and sample reviews as part of compliance monitoring activities

• Prepare compliance review reports and document findings

• Assist in assessing compliance risks across business operations

• Support employee awareness by ensuring understanding of policies, regulations, and procedures

• Respond to employee queries related to compliance matters

• Stay updated on regulatory changes and support their implementation

• Assist in reviewing new products and services from a compliance perspective

• Support coordination and response to regulatory requests (e.g., SAMA) Participate in regulatory inspections and visits, as required

• Maintain proper records and documentation, and escalate non-compliance issues when identified

• Assist in updating the Compliance Risk Register

• Support preparation of SAMA periodic regulatory reports
