Commercial Intern - Project and Development Services

Support the financial and commercial aspects of real estate development projects. Work with Project Managers and commercial teams on cost management, budget tracking, contract administration, and financial reporting to ensure projects deliver value within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing project budgets, cost estimates, and financial forecasts

• Track project expenditures against approved budgets

• Support cost control processes and identify cost-saving opportunities

• Monitor and report on financial performance

• Assist in reviewing contracts, service agreements, and vendor proposals

• Track contract milestones, deliverables, and payment schedules

• Maintain contract documentation and ensure compliance

• Generate financial status reports and dashboards

• Analyze project costs and identify trends

• Prepare financial presentations for clients and stakeholders

• Monitor vendor compliance with contractual obligations

• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and optimization

• Support cost-benefit analyses for proposed changes

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, quantity surveying, or related field

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite

• Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial work

• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration abilities

• Basic understanding of construction or real estate project economics preferred
