Commercial & Contracts Director - Oil & Gas (EOI)

JASARA PMC is inviting expressions of interest for the position of Commercial & Contracts Director in the Oil & Gas sector. In this strategic leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing all commercial and contractual aspects of our Oil & Gas projects. You will develop and implement commercial strategies, ensuring that our contract management practices align with industry standards and organizational goals. Your expertise will guide project teams in negotiating and managing contracts effectively while managing risks and optimizing financial outcomes.

As the Commercial & Contracts Director, you will drive compliance with relevant regulations, lead contract negotiation processes, and manage stakeholder relationships to maximize project success. You will play a pivotal role in providing commercial insights and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement commercial strategies to support the successful delivery of Oil & Gas projects.
• Oversee contract negotiation, management, and compliance, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
• Lead cross-functional teams in the development of commercial proposals and risk assessments.
• Manage relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to promote collaboration and ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes, advising the organization on necessary adaptations to strategy and processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in contract management.Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 18 years of experience in commercial and contract management within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects and negotiating complex contracts.
• Strong understanding of Oil & Gas project lifecycles, legal frameworks, and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
