*NICU Clinical Nurse Leader**
Our quaternary neonatal unit is the only surgical referral center in the state of Qatar, providing family centered care in a Single patient room state of the art NICU. We provide care for sick and premature infants, including infants with cardiac and surgical conditions. We are looking to recruit dynamic, motivated neonatal nurses who have at least 5 years clinical experience in a tertiary level medical / surgical NICU with proven leadership skills, to join our exceptional team of Clinical Nurse Leaders.
The Clinical Nurse Leader demonstrates clinical expertise, strong leadership and collaborative skills in interactions with staff and members of the healthcare team. The Clinical Nurse Leader supports the Clinical Nurse Manager in leading, precepting and mentoring the nursing and midwifery staff as clinical expert in a unit/service. The Clinical Nurse Leader is a key member of the interprofessional team and ensures that standards for nursing and midwifery care are adhered to at unit/service level while working within an assigned shift. The incumbent is accountable for shift coordination, patient flow, patient experience and resource allocation. The incumbent demonstrates problem solving, conflict management and service recovery skills to serve as a role model and change agent. The Clinical Nurse Leader is professionally accountable to the Chief Nursing Officer.
Requirements
- •At least 5 years clinical experience in a tertiary level medical/surgical NICU
