Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Civil Inspector (Saudi National) to join our team!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Monitor site construction activities and perform inspections as directed by the Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE).
- Coordinate directly with contractors regarding construction, installation, maintenance, testing, documentation, and related project activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and client requirements.
- Review site operations and construction activities to ensure subcontractors comply with approved designs, standards, specifications, and contract requirements.
- Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with operational, quality, and safety requirements.
- Assist in identifying, evaluating, and resolving field construction issues to support project schedules and objectives.
- Verify field measurements and construction quantities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide documentation and records related to changes in contract work.
- Review and monitor subcontractor daily and weekly inspection reports.
- Assist in the preparation and compilation of Bills of Quantity (BoQ) and monthly payment documentation.
- Participate in design review meetings and coordinate with civil engineering teams to support project delivery.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate records of site observations, findings, and corrective actions.
- Support project teams in maintaining quality, safety, and construction compliance throughout project execution.What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in civil engineering on heavy civil or infrastructure projects.
- For non-degree holders, a minimum of 9 years of relevant civil construction experience.
- Experience inspecting civil works, monitoring site progress, and reporting findings to site engineers and project management teams.
- Knowledge of construction methods, quality control processes, and site inspection procedures.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
- Experience on rail, metro, transit, or transportation infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with quality assurance and construction compliance requirements.
