About the location:

seaside retreat in the heart of Qatar’s capital; experience the completely new Four Seasons Hotel Doha, reimagined with modern grandeur and sparkling with sunlight and sea views. From the elegant lobby to energetic restaurants and lounges, our beachfront urban retreat has been transformed into a vibrant hotspot, while remaining true to our Qatari roots. This stunning urban beachfront retreat opened in April 2005 in the heart of the business district, and has 237 rooms and 20 unbranded townhouses villas, a large Food and Beverage operation with 10 stunning venues including the world’s largest Nobu restaurant, significant banquets/outside catering, five pools and a private beach, fitness center, and a spa and wellness center offering guests expansive hydrotherapy facilities including an ice room, colour therapy room, steam room and hydrotherapy pool. The hotel completed a beautiful renovation in 2019 and re-opened in March 2020.OurTeam:

Responsibilities:

  • To train, motivate,superviseand discipline all Chef’s working directly and indirectly in the kitchen.
  • To prepare and cook food according to standard procedures, recipe cards,photographsand given instructions.
  • Toestablishstandard recipes and ensurecompliancewith them.
  • Constantly inspect taste,temperatureand visual appeal, make sure that all dishes are uniform and that establishedportionsizes are adhered to.
  • Toassistthe Sous Chef and Jr. Sous Chef in training associates.
  • Toparticipatein product development and in controlling the smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • To ensure food quality, food taste, food presentation, and food requisition.
  • To have a good knowledge ofcuisineto carry out the duties and responsibilities for the position in an efficient and productive manner.
  • To be able to superviseemployeesand manage shifts.
  • To ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed and the kitchen is always clean,neatand tidy.
  • Toassistthe Sous Chef and Jr. Sous Chef in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and to helpmaintaina highstandard of food preparation and presentation.
  • To have full knowledge of Four Seasons Food Standards.
  • To ensure all equipment is in full working order.
  • To ensure an adequate supply of all products prepared ona timelybasis.
  • To do requisition of all items needed for the following day from the food storeroom, non-food storeroom and stewarding department.
  • To prepare exciting and appealing roomamenitieswhen needed.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree Holder, preferably inCulinary.
  • Latin American cuisine experience preferred
  • 2-4years ofexperienceSupervisory or Management experience.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills
  • Excellentcommunication skills
