Charge Nurse - ER
ā¢ Oversees triage prioritization, rapid assessment, stabilization, and emergency interventions.
ā¢ Ensures timely, accurate documentation and compliance with organizational standards.
ā¢ Promotes evidenceābased emergency practices and guides staff in clinical emergencies.
ā¢ Responds immediately to critical conditions such as cardiac arrest, trauma, and resuscitation.
ā¢ Ensures proper medication administration, narcotic control, and adherence to ER medication safety protocols.
ā¢ Coordinates patient flow from arrival to admission, discharge, or transfer.
ā¢ Ensures readiness of emergency equipment, supplies, and resuscitation resources.
ā¢ Guides emergency management for massācasualty incidents, disaster activation, and surge events as required.
Requirements
- ā¢Experience in triage prioritization and rapid assessment
- ā¢Proficiency in emergency interventions and stabilization
- ā¢Skilled in responding to critical conditions (cardiac arrest, trauma)
- ā¢Knowledge of medication administration and safety protocols
- ā¢Experience in coordinating patient flow
- ā¢Familiarity with emergency equipment and supplies readiness
- ā¢Ability to guide emergency management for mass-casualty incidents
