About the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Carpenter Technician to join the Engineering team at Jumeirah The Red Sea.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications.
• Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials for construction or repair.
• Perform maintenance and repair of existing wooden structures and fittings.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with engineers and other trades to complete tasks as per project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
• Hold a high school diploma / ITI equivalent; vocational training or certification in carpentry preferred.
• Demonstrate good moral character and communicate effectively in English.
• Have 2+ years of experience in industrial or construction carpentry.
• Good oral and written communication is an advantage.
• Interpret technical drawings and plans accurately.
