Job Overview
The Capillary Assistant Operator is a semi entry-level crew member who supports the team during capillary operations. This is a hands-on role requiring a physically fit, safety-conscious individual who is eager to learn and capable of working in a demanding field environment. Responsibilities
• Load and offload equipment under supervision for mobilization and demobilization.
• Assist with pre-job inspections and basic equipment maintenance.
• Support spooling-related tasks in the yard and field.
• Assist with spotting equipment and skids.
• Participate in rig up and rig down activities with the crew.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and keep the worksite organized.
• Record test parameters and pressure values accurately.
• Actively participate in pre-job safety meetings, JSAs, and toolbox talks. Skills
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Basic written communication skills. Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the oilfield, preferably in coiled tubing (capillary experience is a strong advantage).
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
• IWCF or IADC WIPC Level 1 certification preferred; willingness to pursue certification is mandatory.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. #LI-MD1
