Boeing Operations International Incorporated KuwaitThe Boeing Company is currently seeking a C-17 Aircraft Mechanic to support Boeing Global Services in Al Mubarak Air Base Kuwait.
This position is part of the on-site C-17 Globemaster III Integrated Sustainment Program maintenance team supporting the Kuwait Air Force (KAF) C-17 aircraft based at Al Mubarak Air Base Kuwait. Applicant will participate in organizational level maintenance activities (e.g. flight line tasks including aircraft servicing, inspections, fault diagnosis and component replacement, and structural repair) associated with day-to-day operations of C-17 Globemaster III aircraft to meet KAF mission requirements.
Additionally, participation in Intermediate level maintenance activities (e.g. back-shop tasks including component repair, test set operation, battery charging, and scheduled periodic inspections) will be required.
Position Responsibilities:
- English is the primary language of the KAF community on the airbase in Kuwait. All technical data to perform the tasks and training are in English.
- Competency in reading, comprehension and speaking the English language is necessary.
- Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
- Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
- Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
- Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
- Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
- Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).
- Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
- Oversees training.
- Works under general direction.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5 years of C17 Maintenance experience
- Current (or ability to obtain) US Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience in structural, composite repair, and/or fuel cell maintenance

Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable Kuwaiti law.
