Experience: 5+ Years
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Techno-Functional Consultant with strong domain knowledge in General Insurance systems. The ideal candidate should have experience working with insurance core platforms, preferably Premia, and should be able to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation.
Key Responsibilities
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyse general insurance business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Support implementation, configuration, and enhancement of insurance core systems (Premia preferred).
• Conduct requirement analysis, gap analysis, and solution design.
• Coordinate with development teams to ensure proper system configuration and customization.
• Participate in system testing, UAT support, and defect resolution.
• Ensure solutions align with insurance business processes, underwriting, policy administration, and claims management.
• Prepare documentation including BRD, FRD, and functional specifications.
• Provide support during system upgrades, integrations, and production deployments.
Required Skills
• Strong experience as a Business Analyst or Techno-Functional Consultant in the General Insurance domain.
• Hands-on experience with insurance core systems (Premia preferred).
• Strong understanding of policy administration, underwriting, claims, and insurance workflows.
• Experience in requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of SQL, system integrations, and APIs is an advantage.
• Experience working in Agile or similar development environments.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with Premia Insurance Platform.
• Exposure to banking or financial services organizations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
