Budget Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Budget Analyst to contribute to the execution of tasks related to revenue and expenditure accounts, ensuring compliance with applicable federal policies and regulations. Prepare technical reports regarding the accuracy of accounting entries, and work on developing operational methods and procedures.

Job Responsibilities :

• Review best practices in budget preparation and management, and propose accounting standards, procedures, and authorities in line with federal requirements.
• Ensure implementation of approved financial policies and procedures.
• Audit and review final accounts as per Ministry of Finance guidelines and follow up on related procedures.
• Analyze and monitor feasibility study results for strategic projects and propose suitable alternatives in alignment with federal government directives.
• Audit and review periodic reports of financial performance indicators of the budget.
• Audit and review budget transfer procedures between budget items, and summarize financial outcomes across all organizational units in accordance with approved procedures and authorities.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Financial Management or related field with minimum 1 year of relevant experience, or
• Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Management or related field with minimum 4 years of relevant experience, or
• Diploma in Financial Management or related field with minimum 12 years of relevant experience.
• Arabic speaker (preferred).Professional Certifications (Preferred)
Candidates with any of the following certifications will have an advantage: CPA, CFA, ACCA, CMA, FRM, Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), Certified Financial Services Specialist (FSCP), Certified Market Risk Professional, UAE VAT Compliance Diploma, Certified Compliance Professional, Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), or Certificate in Real Estate and Financial Modeling.
