Overview Of The Role:

• The Beauty Advisor is responsible for delivering excellence in service and customer satisfaction by providing effective product knowledge and sales techniques. The role involves maintaining merchandise display, enhancing the customer experience, and supporting store promotions to drive growth. Success in this position requires proactive engagement with customers, an understanding of beauty trends, and adherence to company protocols, creating an impactful and profitable retail environment.
What You Will Do:

Sales

• Recommend appropriate products and provide information highlighting the features, advantages, and benefits to customers.
• Assist in locating, selecting, and purchasing desired products based on preferred brand, variant, and color of the customer.
• Utilize appropriate selling techniques such as suggestive selling, upselling, and cross-selling to increase ATV (Average Transaction Value).

Product Management

• Monitor availability of GOBE products.
• Ensure proper safekeeping of all store merchandise to prevent shoplifting, damages, and pilferages.
• Monitor and update reports on product shelf life.
• Replenish products on display as needed with complete shelf price tags.
• Weekly monitor price changes and update shelf/price tags as necessary.
• Display all products timely following set planograms and guidelines.

Customer Service

• Comply with all set customer service standards (e.g., Smile and Greet, Offers Basket).
• Attend to all customer queries and needs.
• Resolve customer complaints guided by set customer service standards and within scope of control.
• Participate in loyalty programs and conversion transactions.

Store Management and Promotion

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the assigned area.
• Prepare and set up store promotions by utilizing marketing collaterals to effectively communicate store promotions.
• Timely execute promotional displays and campaigns.

Compliance and Reporting

• Strictly comply with set company policies and procedures, especially on attendance, punctuality, and code of conduct.
• Accomplish MFP and PDP on time.
• Participate and implement agreed EES action plans.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sales acumen, including upselling and cross-selling techniques.
• Ability to display merchandise according to planograms and maintain stock integrity.
• Proficiency in retail systems, visual merchandising, and computer software.
What Qualifies You For The Role:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree is not essential.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in retail with a focus on the beauty or fashion sector.
• Good knowledge of the fashion/beauty industry and trends, with retail operational skills including stock, VM, systems, and cash handling.
• Computer skills and excellent customer service orientation; proficiency in empathy, leadership, and problem-solving.
