A Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Hendricks Bar/Cigar lounge, ensuring an elevated guest experience through expert knowledge of cigars, premium beverages, and service standards. The role involves managing staff, maintaining inventory and product quality, ensuring compliance with regulations, and creating a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere that drives guest satisfaction and revenue.
What you will do
- Be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.
- Be a part of the change, drive the revenue and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure that guests are receiving service and experience according to the Four Seasons standards.
- Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory and cash control.
- Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
- Be actively involved in employee training and development.
- Participate and assist management of the venue with hiring process of new staff. What you bring
- Experience in managing fine dining restaurants with Asian concept.
- Fluent in at least two international languages.
- Good knowledge of Chinese and Japanese food is a plus.
- Exposed to Michelin Star restaurant is an advantage.
- Degree Holder in Hospitality Management.
- Previous working experience in Dubai or the Middle East. What we offer
