Job Description
- Set up banquet venues according to event orders, including tables, chairs, linens, and service equipment
- Provide professional food and beverage service during banquets, conferences, weddings, and special events
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, following service sequences and quality standards
- Attend pre‑function briefings to understand event requirements, menus, and service flow
- Liaise with supervisors, kitchen, and bar teams to ensure smooth service execution
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas before, during, and after events
- Clear tables and reset spaces promptly and efficiently between courses or events
- Handle guest requests and queries politely, escalating issues when necessary
- Adhere strictly to hygiene, health, and safety standards
- Follow hotel policies, brand standards, and grooming guidelines
- Assist with breakdown and storage of banquet equipment after events
- Support colleagues and supervisors to ensure overall guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Banquet Waiter or Food & Beverage Server in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- Good communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions
- Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and food‑handling practices is an advantage
