Avionics and E&E TechnicianCompany:
Boeing Qatar IncorporatedBoeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking for an Avionics and E&E Technician to assist in our maintenance efforts at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar.
Position Responsibilities:
⢠Avionics and E&E (electrical and environmental) Testing and Maintenance: Perform testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of avionics components and systems using specialized test equipment, such as avionics test stations, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators. Conduct functional tests to ensure proper operation, performance, and compliance with technical specifications. Identify and repair faults or malfunctions in avionics systems and components.
⢠Component Repair and Replacement: Remove, install, and replace avionics components, such as transmitters, receivers, antennas, and control panels. Follow technical orders, maintenance manuals, and engineering drawings to ensure proper installation, alignment, and configuration of components. Conduct functional tests after component replacement to verify proper operation.
⢠System Integration and Troubleshooting: Assist in the integration of avionics systems with other aircraft systems, such as flight control systems and data networks. Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve complex avionics system malfunctions and interface issues. Utilize technical data and diagnostic tools to identify and address system-level problems.
⢠Collaborating with other maintenance disciplines to ensure that aircraft are ready for flight operations.
⢠Able to assign and perform CUT (Cross Utilization Training) as required.
⢠Works under general supervision.
⢠Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable.This position requires the ability to obtain the US Security Clearance from the US Government.
Basic Qualifications:
⢠Minimum of 1 year experience in Aircraft Avionics and E&E Components and Systems.
⢠Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts.Preferred Qualifications:
⢠Experience on military fighter platforms (F-16, F-18, F-22, F-5, F-14, or F-15).
