Job Description
• Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations (Inbound/ Outbound/ Picking/ Put away/ Decanting / NIO Clearance/ Documentations etc) of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• This role involves working with a small team (5-10 staff) to maintain inventory levels, organize products, and assist in order fulfilment, all while ensuring SLA, daily productivity targets and compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Keep the warehouse environment clean, organized, and safe.
• Communicate effectively with team and supervisors to coordinate tasks and resolve any issues.
• To support in gathering and analysing data as and when required, prepare MIS, and support in solving operational issues.
• Must be a quick learner of the process of the automated warehouse operations and can work as per system drive.
• He must work on Warehouse management system (Dematic -WMS), need to read and understand Dashboard, can export data and make simple report to present supervisor.
• Perform assigned Task / operation as per SOP (standard Operating Procedure).
• To participate in Problem solving / process improvement projects - Kaizen, KATA, 5-S etc and contribute to achieve targets.
• To support team member professionally to achieve team target - SLA & Throughput.
Specific relevant ( Required Skills )
• English read and write – verbal and written (Email writing) communication skill.
• Basic math’s solving skill (Sum, Multiply, Average, Count, Subtraction, Percentage, ratio etc. – 10th Level Math’s skill required)
• Lead for small Activity mostly skilled individual jobs like Jam buster, Consumable Management, Inventory Audits– Part of DLP Staff
• Ability to lift heavier Cartons.
• Ability to work in different physical functions of the warehouse during the day (Can work in Night Shift)
• Ability to stretch beyond the regular working hours based as required by the Supervisors.
• Ability to operate PDT’s & WMS GUI screens.
• Can do basic Operation related analysis – data analysis, operations analysis to solve day to day problems / issues.
Requirements
- •Proficient in English (written and verbal)
- •Basic math skills (10th level)
- •Ability to lift heavier cartons
- •Ability to work night shifts and overtime
- •Experience with PDTs and WMS GUI screens
- •Familiar with Dematic-WMS
- •Experience with problem-solving and process improvement (Kaizen, KATA, 5S)
Nice to Have
- •Quick learner of automated warehouse operations
- •Ability to work as per system drive
- •Experience in leading small activities (Jam buster, Consumable Management, Inventory Audits)
