Your Day to Day
As our Assistant Procurement Manager, you will oversee the full procurement and receiving function of the hotel, ensuring all goods and services are sourced efficiently, responsibly, and in line with company policies and brand standards. Reporting to the Finance & Business Support Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for all procurement activities, supporting department heads in sourcing quality products, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring uninterrupted operational supply across the property.
You will lead supplier sourcing, negotiations, contract management, and vendor performance reviews, ensuring quality, reliability, and competitive pricing. You will drive cost control initiatives by monitoring purchasing trends, identifying savings opportunities, and supporting inventory optimization and stock accuracy. You will ensure timely and accurate processing of purchase orders, supplier documentation, and procurement records, maintaining full compliance with audit requirements, internal controls, and local regulations.
You will also oversee the receiving operations, ensuring all deliveries are verified, documented, and aligned with purchase orders and quality standards. You will work closely with finance and operational teams to support cost transparency, financial reporting, and operational planning. You will continuously review procurement processes, identify efficiency improvements, and support sustainability and responsible sourcing initiatives in line with company values.
What We Need From You
We are looking for someone with strong procurement and purchasing experience, ideally within hospitality. You demonstrate leadership capability, strong negotiation skills, and commercial awareness, with the ability to influence stakeholders and support business performance. You are highly organized, detail focused, and confident managing multiple priorities while maintaining strong supplier and internal relationships. Knowledge of procurement systems, inventory management, and contract administration is required.
