About the Job
An opportunity has arisen for Assistant Housekeeping Manager – Housekeeping to join Jumeirah Jabal Omar.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing all housekeeping operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction are consistently achieved.
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, laundry, and linen management.
- Monitor departmental productivity and staffing levels to ensure efficient allocation of resources in line with business demands.
- Support the preparation and implementation of departmental budgets, cost-control measures, and productivity initiatives.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure compliance with brand standards and quality requirements.
- Review housekeeping reports, room status updates, and operational logs, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding issues.
- Coordinate closely with Front Office, Engineering, Security, Laundry, and other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in housekeeping operations within a 4- or 5-star hotel.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within Housekeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and hotel property management systems.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.About the Benefits

Requirements
