About the location:

Steps from the Prophet’s Mosque, our Hotel will offer luxury accommodation for the city’s 1.5 million annual visitors. The new-build hotel will be located at the heart of Madinah and steps from one of the most historic and significant sites in the region: Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, also known as the Prophet’s Mosque. Madinah is also home to the Quba Mosque, which is regarded as the oldest mosque in the world.The Role of Assistant Director of Engineering:

We currently have an opportunity for an Assistant Director of Engineering to join our Four Seasons Hotel Madinah opening team!

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you willbe responsible forassisting in all aspects of the hotel, building maintenance, and landscaping, including electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, heating/cooling, painting, carpentry, structural, recycling, ground care, parking areas, outsourced gardening team, fire, and safety.  Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that all inquiries are responded to in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner to deliver the highest of standards consistently and to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests and employees.

Responsibilities will include talent leadership and development, ensuring execution and follow up of work, preparing requisitions for purchase and work orders, implementing preventative maintenance schedules, evaluating meter readings and consumption, and supporting the Safety Committee and the energy conservation program.

Hotel opening experience and expert technical knowledge of general building maintenance and environmental standards.

Additionally, you will be a passionate and motivated leader with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, have the highest level of integrity and transparency, strategic, analytical and strong business acumen, an eye for detail, a passion for service, and a desire to promote a continuous learning environment that creates an atmosphere for professional development opportunities.

Suitable candidates must be eligible to work in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
