Job Title
AMOT/AO Engineer – Call for Tenders Support
Job Purpose
To support the Project Owner during the tendering and contractor selection phase by providing technical, contractual, and economic review of bidders’ proposals, ensuring alignment with project objectives, budget, and approved program requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the Project Owner throughout the consultation and tender phase for the selection of the Engineering Company
• Participate in technical meetings and support the alignment of bidders’ proposals with project requirements
• Review variants proposed by bidders and assess their compliance with the approved program and project objectives
• Review and manage carry-over items or technical proposals issued by the Project Owner to bidders
• Participate in technical optimization workshops with bidders, bringing technical expertise and knowledge of the local project environment
• Conduct comprehensive technical, economic, and contractual analysis of bids, including risk identification and comparison between candidates
• Support negotiations with bidders, when required
• Recommend adjustments, optimizations, or scope clarifications to ensure alignment with the target budget approved by the Project Owner
• Prepare synthesis reports and recommendations to support the final contractor selection decision
• Ensure consistency between tender submissions and the approved program documentation
Qualifications
• Experience in tendering, bid evaluation, and contractor selection for industrial or infrastructure projects
• Strong technical review and coordination capabilities
• Good understanding of contractual and commercial bid assessment
• Familiarity with project delivery environments in KSA is an advantage
• Strong reporting and stakeholder communication skills
