Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Advisor - Safety, Health & Environment to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will champion a culture of safety excellence and environmental stewardship across our organization. As a trusted advisor, you will provide strategic guidance on occupational health and safety matters, ensuring all operations align with UAE regulations and international best practices while driving continuous improvement and fostering a proactive risk-aware mindset throughout the organization.

• Develop, implement, and continuously refine comprehensive safety, health, and environmental policies, procedures, and programs tailored to organizational needs and operational contexts
• Conduct thorough site inspections, audits, and assessments to identify potential hazards, compliance gaps, and opportunities for improvement
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-miss events; document findings with precision and recommend evidence-based corrective and preventive actions
• Deliver engaging safety training and awareness programs to personnel at all organizational levels, fostering a shared commitment to safety excellence
• Ensure full compliance with UAE occupational health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies through proactive monitoring and documentation
• Maintain meticulous safety records, documentation, and reports that support regulatory requirements and enable data-driven decision-making
• Collaborate strategically with operational teams, management, and external stakeholders to seamlessly integrate safety into daily work activities and organizational culture
• Analyze safety performance metrics, trends, and leading indicators to identify emerging risks and develop targeted improvement initiatives
• Conduct comprehensive hazard assessments and risk evaluations for new projects, processes, equipment, and organizational changes
• Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related concerns, providing expert guidance and escalating critical issues to senior leadership with transparency and urgency
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities, safety consultants, and external partners to maintain organizational standing and access best practices
• Monitor and promote proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment, ensuring accessibility and compliance across all operations
• Mentor and coach team members and operational staff on safety best practices, fostering a culture of shared responsibility and continuous learning
• Stay current with evolving safety regulations, industry standards, and innovative safety solutions to keep the organization at the forefront of safety management

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in safety, health, and environment advisory or management roles within corporate, industrial, construction, or operational environments
• Proven expertise conducting safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations with documented results and improvements
• Strong, demonstrable knowledge of UAE and GCC occupational health and safety regulations, standards, and compliance requirements
• Advanced proficiency in analyzing safety data, identifying trends, and developing evidence-based improvement strategies and programs
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence personnel at all organizational levels
• Demonstrated ability to organize, maintain, and manage detailed safety documentation and comprehensive compliance records
• Solid understanding of safety management systems, frameworks, and international best practices
