About ADIA Lab

ADIA Lab conducts basic and applied research in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and High-Performance Computing (HPC), including Quantum Computing. It is focused on addressing key societal challenges in areas such as climate, energy, telecommunications, health, space, tokenization, financial inclusion, and investing.

ADIA Lab is supported by ADIA, but operates independently and is guided by an Advisory Board of global thought leaders, including Nobel and Turing award winners.

The vision of ADIA Lab is to drive innovation at the intersection of data, AI, and computational science, promoting global collaboration and impactful research through education, discovery, and transformative partnerships.

Internship Opportunities at ADIA Lab

ADIA Lab is offering a 6–8 week Summer Internship Program from June to August 2026 for undergraduate students interested in gaining hands-on research experience in artificial intelligence and data science.

During the internship, participants will work on a research project under the mentorship of ADIA Lab’s lead scientists, gaining exposure to cutting-edge research and practical methodologies. Interns will also have the opportunity to participate in local ADIA Lab events and activities, enriching their experience while expanding their professional and academic networks.

Application Requirements

• CV: Please include your graduation date or expected graduation date (Month, Year), along with your local and any international phone numbers if applicable.
• Identification Documents: Submit a recent photo, a copy of your passport, and your Emirates ID.
• Background: Candidates must be currently enrolled in a STEM program (such as Data Science, Computer Science, or Mathematics) at a university, whether local or international.
• University Transcripts: It is preferred that you attach copies of your official academic transcripts.
• Motivation Letter: This letter provides you with the opportunity to showcase your experiences, aspirations, and reasons for applying to the ADIA Lab Internship Program (maximum of 1 page or 500 words).
